Ah.. I heard enough of Kolaveri song for now.. the Metallic, Carnatic and the Original. Then went with the Dances by Tamil Guys and Japanese Gals. Now I saw this one. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, sung my a "little grown-up" girl. I found it shared by my friend on Facebook, but I wanted it to be on my Blog, keeping the Rights to its owners. Have a look at this wonderful Little star, Twinkling the Twinkle Twinkle little star in various accents. I am sure that you would enjoy this. However, this is not to hurt anyone's accent, may it be an Indian or any other Country citizens. This is purely for entertainment.

This morning I was thinking of Sri Shankaraabharanam. I saw the movie a long time ago and remember the artist (I prefer to say Sankara Sastry here)  was a Classical master and once he was disturbed by so called modern BoYs, who were practising their Western Music, and irritated by their action,  Sankara Sastry comes out and shows them the power of Carnatic music in gentle manner. Why this Kolaveri di (English: Why this murderous rage, girl?) is a song from the upcoming Tamil movie 3, due to be released in 2012. The song is penned and sung by popular Tamil movie star Dhanush. A promo of this song was released on Youtube on 16th November 2011, and it instantly became viral on social networking sites for its quirky "Tanglish" (Tamil–English) lyrics. On this particular video sharing site, the song has become the most searching video. There was a rough video released with this single, which has become a big rage with the netizens.The promo features the actor-playback singer Dhanush singing the song in a studio, and composer Anirudh at the piano, while wifeAishwarya Rajinikanth and co-star Shruti Hassan watch along and give suggestions. India: Last of the tigers - 101 East

Conservationists are in a desperate and uphill battle to save India's tigers from extinction.

A century ago, 45,000 tigers lived wild in India’s forests. When hunting was banned in 1972, their numbers had fallen to 2,000. Today, the Indian government claims that there are 1,706, but few experts believe it, saying perhaps only 1,000 remain.

Poaching is largely to blame, with a lucrative demand for tiger skin and parts from neighbouring China.

There is also the continued destruction of tiger habitats as human communities expand, leading to growing conflict between man and tiger.

On this edition of 101 East, we look at the battle to save India’s tigers from extinction.

CM Nitish Kumar promised to clean up Bihar, yet his anti-corruption bill would enable his government to block prosecutions of his officials, and to punish citizens who make complaints. We can stop this. Kumar cares about his reputation and says he’ll listen to citizens’ comments before finalising the bill -- let’s ensure he hears our call for strong anti-corruption legislation and changes his mind.

Together we can follow up the recent Lokayutka victory in Uttarakhand, and c to pass an anti-corruption law our movement can be proud of. The consultation closes in three days -- let’s all send messages calling for a strong Bill and forward this email so our friends can do the same.
