ಶ್ರೀ ವರಸಿದ್ಧಿವಿನಾಯಕ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಂ

ಧ್ಯಾನಂ

ಆऽಕಾರಃ ಪ್ರಣವಃ ಯಸ್ಯ
ಉದರೇ ಚ ವಿಶ್ವಾಧಾರಮ್ |
ಮೂಷಕವಾಹನಂ ವೃಣೇಹಂ
ಅಕಾರೋಕಾರಮಕಾರಾತ್ ||


ಕಿರೀಟೀ ಸುಮುಖಂ ದೇವಂ
ಅಕ್ಷಮಾಲಾಧರೇಶ್ವರಮ್ |
ಗಜಮುಖಂ ಶೂರ್ಪಕರ್ಣಂ
ತಮೀಶಂ ಉಮಾಸುತಮ್||

ಏಕದಂತಂ ವಕ್ರತುಂಡಂ
ಈಶಪುತ್ರಂ ವಿನಾಯಕಂ|
ಪಾಶಾಂಕುಶಧರಂ ವಿಷ್ಣುಂ
ದಂತಮೋದಕಹಸ್ತಿನಮ್||

ಪದ್ಮಾಸನೇಸ್ಥಿತಂ ಪ್ರಭುಂ
ವರಮೂಷಕವಾಹನಮ್|
ಸರ್ಪವಾಮಹಸ್ತಾಧರೇ ಯಸ್ಯ
ಚ ತಂ ಸಿದ್ಧಿವಿನಾಯಕಮ್||

ಕ್ಷಿಪ್ರವರಪ್ರದಂ ವಿಭುಂ
ಪ್ರಣವಂ ಗಂ ಸ್ವರೂಪಿಣಮ್|
ತ್ವಾಮಹಂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಯೇ ನಿತ್ಯಂ
ವರಸಿದ್ಧಿವಿನಾಯಕಮ್ ||

The below meaning and interpretation of the Lord is as he has been seen by me for years, under his grace, I have composed this post thousands of Ganesha Gayathri done before the 48th year (Mandalotsava) of the Sri Ganesha Mandiram pratisthaaphana, before we performed the Mahaganapati sahasramodaka home. Under the name of Sri Varasiddhivinayaaka stortam I present this to the lord as my prayer, the same could be repeated by others to get the blessings of the god. This is all he made me compose late night before I slept, and correct a few lines after I woke up next day, with all his blessings on me here is what he is for all of us:

ಆऽಕಾರಃ ಪ್ರಣವಃ ಯಸ್ಯ
ಉದರೇ ಚ ವಿಶ್ವಾಧಾರಮ್ |
ಮೂಷಕವಾಹನಂ ವೃಣೇಹಂ
ಅಕಾರೋಕಾರಮಕಾರಾತ್ ||


Starting with letter ಅ, Aum (ಪ್ರಣವಃ) itself is his form(ಆಕಾರಃ) starting with letter A (ಅ + ಆಕಾರಃ = ಆऽಕಾರಃ) ಉ the mid of which forms the stomach that contains the worlds' power (ವಿಶ್ವಾಧಾರಮ್, ganesha is often refered as moolaadhaara, and residing in the moolaadhaara, while him being vishnu himself, the moolaadhaara resides within the mahaagaNapati), and the end with ಮ್ resembles his feet on the mooshika the rat a smaller animal that is even lesser than human but the lord has kept his grace on him, by not killing the rakshasa but turning him to a good being, while we chant the sacred letter ॐ, we are not just saying a syllable, or a sound, we are praying to the lord sri varasiddhi vinayaaka himself, hence, from a, u, and m, we pray and surrender to him.
Thus, ॐ.

ಕಿರೀಟೀ ಸುಮುಖಂ ದೇವಂ
ಅಕ್ಷಮಾಲಾಧರೇಶ್ವರಮ್ |
ಗಜಮುಖಂ ಶೂರ್ಪಕರ್ಣಂ
ತಮೀಶಂ ಉಮಾಸುತಮ್||
You are crowned(ಕಿರೀಟೀ), and have a beautiful face that brings good to all (ಸುಮುಖ), and you are the lord (ದೇವ) and your necklace is nothing but aksha maala or the rudrakshaa, which lord shiva also loves(ಅಕ್ಷಮಾಲಾಧರೇಶ್ವರ). Being elephant faced(ಗಜಮುಖ), you are having ears like winnowing fans (ಶೂರ್ಪಕರ್ಣ), who is the lord himself(ತಮೀಶ) who became son of Goddess Uma (Paarvati's son - ಉಮಾಸುತ).

ಏಕದಂತಂ ವಕ್ರತುಂಡಂ
ಈಶಪುತ್ರಂ ವಿನಾಯಕಂ|
ಪಾಶಾಂಕುಶಧರಂ ವಿಷ್ಣುಂ
ದಂತಮೋದಕಹಸ್ತಿನಮ್||
(many stories say he broke one of his tusks, for different reasons,) thus you became (ಏಕದಂತ) one tusked, and for the elephant head, the trunk is curved(ವಕ್ರತುಂಡ), and residing on the left hand with food, that makes you vakra tunda, you are indeed the son of the God - Eesha(ಈಶಪುತ್ರ), and you are the obstacle and the obstacle remover himself(ವಿನಾಯಕ). You hold the pasha on right to help the needy and to punish the evil, and the ankusha on left to control the vulnerable mind (ಪಾಶಾಂಕುಶಧರ) and indeed you are form of Vishnu himself, the omnipresent (ವಿಷ್ಣು), who has held the broken piece is your tusk on right hand, and the modaka on the left(ದಂತಮೋದಕಹಸ್ತಿ).

ಪದ್ಮಾಸನೇಸ್ಥಿತಂ ಪ್ರಭುಂ
ವರಮೂಷಕವಾಹನಮ್|
ಸರ್ಪವಾಮಹಸ್ತಾಧರೇ ಯಸ್ಯ
ಚ ತಂ ಸಿದ್ಧಿವಿನಾಯಕಮ್||
Oh lord (ಪ್ರಭುಂ) you are sitting on the lotus dias(ಪದ್ಮಾಸನೇಸ್ಥಿತ), with your vehicle moshaka below your vara (right) paada(ವರಮೂಷಕವಾಹನ). There is one special thing that is noticed, the one who has(ಯಸ್ಯ) a snake under your left pam( ವಾಮಹಸ್ತ ಅಧರೇ ಸರ್ಪ ), that confirms you are my supreme facility and obstacle remover (ಸಿದ್ಧಿವಿನಾಯಕಮ್).

ಕ್ಷಿಪ್ರವರಪ್ರದಂ ವಿಭುಂ
ಪ್ರಣವಂ ಗಂ ಸ್ವರೂಪಿಣಮ್|
ತ್ವಾಮಹಂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಯೇ ನಿತ್ಯಂ
ವರಸಿದ್ಧಿವಿನಾಯಕಮ್ ||
you give the boon that is asked for at the earliest possible time (when one are in actual need of it) (ಕ್ಷಿಪ್ರವರಪ್ರದ) and your grace is unlimited (ವಿಭು), you indeed the one that i fore said, the one who takes us (gamayate iti ಗಂ) the form of pranava (ಪ್ರಣವ = omkara), also ಗಂ is his beejaakshara of yourself.
I (ಅಹಂ) pray(ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಯೇ) to you (ತ್ವಾಂ) every day (ನಿತ್ಯಂ) the boon giver and the obstacle remover (ವರಸಿದ್ಧಿವಿನಾಯಕಮ್).

|| ಓಂ ಗಣೇಶಯನಮಃ ಇತಿ  ತ್ಯಾಗರಾಜನಗರೇ ಗಣೇಶಮಂದಿರೇ ಮಂದಿರಸ್ಥಾಪನವರ್ಷತ್ ಅಷ್ಟಚತ್ವಾರಿಂಶತ್ತಮವರ್ಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಾತ್ ಪೂರ್ವಂ ಸ್ಥಾಪನಾಪತಿಃ ಶ್ರೀ ವೇಂಕಟೇಶ ಶರ್ಮಣಃ ದೌಹಿತ್ರೇಣ ಪ್ರಣವನಾಮಾಂಕಿತಂ ಇದಂ ತ್ಯಾಗರಾಜನಗರ ಶ್ರೀ ವರಸಿದ್ಧಿವಿನಾಯಕ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಂ ಭಗವನ್ತಂ ತತ್ಪುರುಷಮ್ ಅರ್ಪಿತಮ್||
